Description
This course offers a detailed study of canine training, incorporating a wide variety of tools and techniques. You will learn how to build effective training plans for use as a professional trainer or to share with clients. We will tackle difficult behavioral problems in a variety of settings. Each student will train a new behavior in a dog during the course of the semester, under the supervision of their instructor. You will be required to either upload video of your training sessions or submit a very detailed log of your training sessions. The course will also incorporate material on working with owners, working with equipment, and building a new business in dog training.
