Description
This talk will cover the topics of pregnancy management in preparation for a successful natural whelping as well as normal and abnormal whelping scenarios. We will pay particular attention to the things that we as breeders and veterinarians, and shelter workers can control before and during whelping and how to recognize when things are not going as planned. General treatment recommendations and the outcomes based on current literature will be discussed.
