The 2026 AASI International Conference offers an in-depth exploration of best practices, scientific foundations, and innovative applications in Animal Assisted Services (AAS). Sessions include topics such as canine behavior assessment, handler–dog matching, welfare and enrichment, integration of AAS into healthcare and community programs, and applied training techniques. Presentations and workshops led by international experts—including Aubrey Fine, Suzanne Clothier, Melissa Winkle, and other leaders in canine behavior and welfare—provide both theoretical and hands-on learning opportunities. This event emphasizes evidence-based approaches to improving canine performance, wellbeing, and the human–animal bond.
